When observing the bird(s) they do seem to have a series of favoured perches and are ignoring mine. But I won't give up just yet because the the "barbed wire area" has the other variables that are needed, ie the light direction and as you mentioned the nicely defused background.<br />Cheers mate.Paul Riddlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03745064452469646249noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7234950101395165139.post-83069962078228712712014-09-15T18:43:52.634+01:002014-09-15T18:43:52.634+01:00Superb Paul.

The background is really good in the photos, so it must be worth continuing to work that locationCarl Baggotthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11922617278112545690noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7234950101395165139.post-69172502404340811792014-09-15T17:57:11.278+01:002014-09-15T17:57:11.278+01:00I do hope you are right Doug, it won't be for ...I do hope you are right Doug, it won't be for the lack of trying, cheers mate.Paul Riddlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03745064452469646249noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7234950101395165139.post-15279722758668815792014-09-15T17:56:25.533+01:002014-09-15T17:56:25.533+01:00Many thanks buddy, kind words and a challenge, we&...Many thanks buddy, kind words and a challenge, we'll see if I am able to come up with the goods?Paul Riddlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03745064452469646249noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7234950101395165139.post-57896151185584907282014-09-15T12:16:24.254+01:002014-09-15T12:16:24.254+01:00Cracking images Paul all your research has paid of...Cracking images Paul all your research has paid off. It's been around for decades, if not centuries, and we don't downgrade an owl image if it's sitting on a fence post or brick building. So a Kingfisher on barbed wire, if anything, scores for its originality. That last image is truly amazing, and if you can beat it, I'd like to see what with !!!! Of course, with a fish might just tip the balance ;-}Richard Peglerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05115206853645323899noreply@blogger.com
